It was a very grey day even though it is the first day of summer! Yay! Angela and I felt like making something creative, we have a lot of art supplies, but I found an egg carton in the recycling bin so we decided to use that, and our favorite things to work with: paint, sequins, hot glue gun and pompoms! Yay!
Angela made a cook and I made a two-headed caterpillar, first we cut the egg carton, then we painted it and then we glued the sequins and pompoms on them, we used wire for the antennas (that was the hard part!) and we used felt for the hair and moustache, a marker for the lips and googly eyes for the eyes, hah!
Since mine has two heads, one is a hipster with a long moustache and the other one is a punk rocker, they're both from Portland.
Angela's caterpillar is a sweet vegetarian cook and a waitress at her own vegetarian restaurant, she's carrying delicious meals on her back, she has pasta, chicken, gingerbread cookie, pizza, french toasts, and bacon with eggs, ( It's faux meat people, she loves animals, she doesn't eat them! )
It was really fun and kept us busy, busy as bees for like 3 hours for the two-headed caterpillar and 4 hours for the cute cook. You creative folks out there should try it! And remember, Be Creative! ( It's awesome!)
